The Courier Mail reported that a man with a history of stalking and exposing his genitals to women pled guilty to stalking, indecent acts and an unrelated domestic violence charge of assault causing bodily harm.
He exposed his genitals to a woman walking home and demanded she give it a score, threatening to follow her until she did. He has prior convictions for exposing himself and masturbating at women in public.
He also pled guilty to a prolonged domestic violence assault of abuse, intimidation and violence over several days against a woman.
This is not a jokey “rate my penis” story. This is a story of a man with a history of abusive, intimidating behaviour towards women. All the women involved were scared and the woman he abused suffered physical as well as emotional injuries.
A headline like this makes a joke of a man’s abusive actions, and erases the victims of his choice to be intimidating and violent.
