Some fixes need explaining, sometimes quite a lot of explaining. This one from the Northern Star is not one of those fixes.
A man was charged after he allegedly beat his wife, tried to force her to lie to police about a rape that didn’t happen and falsely made a sexual harassment claim on her behalf.
None of this has anything to do with porn or a fling and while a serious assault can certainly be described as a disaster for the victim, that’s not really the intent here.
This is trashy, sensationalist “journalism”, but these are real people. This woman has suffered a serious attack. This man chose to use violence against a woman and acted as if he was entitled to do so. He was not.
