The last few years have proven beyond any doubt that Australia needs an independent federal anti-corruption organisation with full investigative powers. I will advocate for such an organisation and support any legislation required to enable it.
I will not support the current governments attempt to legislate a so-called anti-corruption body with no power to investigate actual corruption and waste.
